The food grade stainless steel CROWN Urn strainer is a must have item for preserving and brewing.  

The strainer provides separation from the heating element when jars and/or brewing items are submerged into the urn ensuring there is no direct contact with the heating element.

Recommended to be used in urns with either an exposed or concealed heating element.
