Disposable Cutlery, Straws & Accessories

Disposable Cutlery, Straws and Accessories covers the single-use and reusable service items your front-of-house goes through daily. That includes individually wrapped and bulk cutlery sets, paper and bamboo fibre straws in multiple sizes and colours, combination straw-spoons, straw dispensers and related accessories. Everything here is aimed at cafe, restaurant and takeaway operators who need reliable supply in catering quantities.

You'll find paper straws in jumbo and regular sizes across a range of stripe colours and all-black finishes, plus bamboo fibre straws in slant-cut profiles for a more natural look. Straw-spoon combos are also stocked for bubble tea and thick beverage menus. Pac Trading and BioPak cover the bulk of the range, with carton quantities suited to high-volume service.

Paper straws suit most cold drinks and are widely accepted by customers conscious of single-use plastics. Bamboo fibre straws hold their shape a little longer in liquid, making them a good fit for venues serving smoothies or iced drinks over extended sittings. Your choice should also factor in your branding — striped and all-black options from Pac Trading let you match a house colour scheme without a custom order.

Start with your average daily covers and multiply by your service days between deliveries, then add a buffer for busy periods. Most carton quantities here run into the hundreds or thousands, so buying by the carton almost always works out better per unit than smaller packs. If your venue runs both dine-in and takeaway, treat them as separate usage streams when you calculate.

Paper and bamboo straws should be stored in a cool, dry area away from moisture — humidity causes paper straws to soften before they even reach a glass. Keep cartons off the floor and away from any steam-producing equipment. Cutlery sets in sealed wrap can generally be stored at ambient temperature without issue, but check that packaging is intact on delivery to avoid contamination.

Yes. Alongside the straws themselves you'll find dispensers and holders designed to keep straws accessible and hygienic at the counter or bar. San Jamar and Olympia both appear in the accessories range. A well-positioned dispenser speeds up service and reduces waste from straws being handled repeatedly before use.

Absolutely — your cart can hold products from any combination of brands and pack sizes. This is useful if you want to trial a bamboo fibre straw from Pac Trading alongside a paper option from BioPak before committing to a full carton run. There is no minimum order requirement that forces you to buy within a single brand.

Straw dispensers should be emptied, wiped down and sanitised at least once per day in a food service setting. Stainless steel accessories can typically go through a commercial dishwasher, but check the product details for each item before doing so. For countertop dispensers, a quick wipe with a food-safe sanitiser between service periods is usually enough to stay on top of hygiene.

Chefs Depot runs a membership programme where members save off RRP across the range, including all disposable cutlery, straws and accessories. Savings apply automatically when you are logged in as a member at checkout. If you are ordering regularly for a cafe or restaurant, membership pays for itself quickly given how often these consumables need replenishing.

Pricing varies by product type, material and carton quantity. Bulk paper straw cartons and standard cutlery sets generally sit at the more accessible end of the range, while bamboo fibre options and branded accessories carry a modest premium. Members save off RRP on every line. Checking the product page gives you the most accurate current price for the quantity you need.
